Ready to experience the Magik?
Magik Productions was birthed in 1996, but went by the name of “Josh the Magician”. The company dealt mainly with working as an archimage (Magician) for some time and did not branch out into other areas of entertainment until 3 years ago. Starting with street performing Josh (a.k.a. DJ Magik) gained knowledge of how to manage and work a crowd. This experience helped him as a photographer and eventually a professional disc jockey.
Musicology began to develop as the amount of gigs and events increased. Tasks like planning appropriate music for a Motocross race or a bat mitzvah helped add to the overall understanding of music mixology. Whether it is a wedding, school dance, club night, or any other event the music will add to a magikal experience.
Recently, Magik Productions was responsible for hosting the 1st UNCW Randall Library Rave as a study break during finals week. In this promotion of school spirit, over 2,500 students came and participated in celebration. Watch the video below! (sound is not the best so you may want to mute it before you watch)
